The Solite Pro features an improved auto-regressing backrest which prevents pinching in the sacral area. The entire backrest section has been re-engineered and lengthened to align more accurately with human physiology. As the backrest rises, it also slides back to avoid the occupant being pushed down the bed. This change encourages a more natural movement and reduces shear and friction to improve skin integrity and to position the patient comfortably in the bed whilst reducing abdominal crunching for a significantly improved respiratory position.
